HARRIS, Ralph Ernest, Jr. – of Lapeer, MI, age 82, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. Burial will take place 2 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Bird Cemetery, Elba Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lynne Jaynes, in Ralph’s memory.
Ralph was born in Warren, MI on September 6, 1940, son of the late Ralph and Lily (Gibbs) Harris, Sr. He married Linda B. Cox on May 6, 1961 and she preceded him in death on August 8, 2012. Ralph retired from General Motors in 1995 after many years of service. He enjoyed going to “The Island” and loved going out to eat.
Ralph is survived by 2 sons, Brian (Christine) Harris and Brad Harris; 5 grandchildren, A.J., Hillary, Kera, Brad Jr. and Cody; siblings, Cathy, John, Aldon and Betsy; one of his best friends; Lynne Jaynes; feline friend, Miss Gracie; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lily Harris, Sr. and his wife, Linda B. Harris. Ralph will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
