MOORE, Martha M. – of Clio, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Garrett Starr officiating. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM, and on Wednesday from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM.

Martha was born December 16, 1928, in Buncombe County, North Carolina to the late J.P. and Maebell (Lewis) Morgan. She married Robert Moore on December 1, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio, and he preceded her in death. Martha retired from General Motors - Fisher Body in 1984 with 30 years of service. She was a very faithful and longtime member of Community Lighthouse Church where everyone there was considered family. Martha sang at the church for many years and belonged to the Secret Pale Club. For her 90th birthday, the church threw her a beautiful party, complete with a crown she treasured. Martha currently attended Cornerstone Faith & Worship Center Assembly of God in Clio where she also sang. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. She loved her friends, church, and the special relationship she had with her Lord.

Left to cherish her memory are: Son, Robert Moore, Jr. of Clio; Daughter in law, Sandy Wilson of Skidway; Grandchildren: Michael (Shannon) Wilson of Pinconning, Russell (Jessica) Wilson of West Branch, and Angela (Gina) Wilson of Skidway; Great grandchildren: Jordan Wilson of Alger, Michael Wilson of Bay City, Ryan Wilson of Bay City, Russell Wilson of West Branch, Karleigh Wilson of Alger, Austin Childs, Harley Childs, and Cameron Childs of Pinconning, Nathan Childs and wife of Japan, Madison Balliet of Pinconning, Brantlee Wilson of Pinconning, Brenden Woyaha and Chelsea Woyaha of Bay City; Great-great grandchildren: Jayce Wilson of Tawas, Beal Childs of Pinconning, and Ryker Childs of Japan, and Elijah Jo; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. Martha was also preceded in death by: Baby Girl Moore; Sons: Russell Wilson, and Billy J. Wilson, Jr. The family extends a special thank you to her wonderful caregivers, Melinda and Karen Cook for all their love and care.
