KOPLEN, Kevin Christopher– of Lapeer, age 66, passed away March 30, 2022, at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 1 PM Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Dennis Rouse officiating. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, in Kevin’s memory.
Kevin was born in Flint, Michigan on February 28, 1956, son of the late Ralph Curtis Koplen and Diane Grayce Stein. He married Paula Dimich on October 30, 1976, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Flint, MI. Kevin enjoyed hunting and fishing along with boating with his wife and family. He was a speed skater in his youth and always enjoyed the outdoors.
Kevin is survived by his wife Paula; son, Josh and his children Emma and Milan; daughter, Lindsay and husband, Jeremy, and their children Logan, Jae, Ewan and Mara. His brother Brad and wife Iris; many loving nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Ralph; mother, Diane; and sister, Lisa.
