Vance E. Haywood of Burton, Michigan, died Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at 54 years of age.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, January 18th at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family kindly asks that attire be tailgate appropriate for a University of Michigan fan.
Vance was born July 20th, 1967 in Flint, to the late James V. Haywood and Sally S. Leonard (Spare). He married Stacey (Chazick) on July 17th, 2017 in Burton. Vance was employed by the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, for 29 years as a Power Plant Operator in the Central Power Plant. Vance enjoyed Michigan Football, NASCAR, going to concerts, listening to Sirius XM Octane, spending time with his grandbaby, his family and friends.
Vance is survived by his wife, Stacey; children: son, Nicholas (Susan); daughter, Shelby (Logan); stepdaughter, Elizabeth; grandson, Elliott; aunt, Sharon; cousins:Trina (Scott) and Tammy (Guy); His best buddies: Bill (Mary), Gary (Laura), Duane F. (Elizabeth), Duane R, Steve G., Jerry (Stacy) and many many more special friends. Preceded in death by his uncle, Walt Spare; and grandparents, May and Lyle Spare.
