SPISHAK, Michelle Lynn “Sugar” – Of Davison, age 52, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home.
Private service will be held.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Michelle was born in Flint, Michigan on May 13, 1968, the daughter of Jerry (Ronna) Willhelm and Martha Louise Layne.
On July 4, 2014 she married Shawn Spishak in Las Vegas.
Michelle’s profession was to make people look and feel beautiful. She was a skilled beautician because she made people feel so good. She retired from Salon 416 in 2019, not because she wanted to, but because her health told her to.
She used that time to be Shawn’s right hand, take care of the kids, and prepare to be a grandma. The best way to describe Michelle in one sentence is, she drew people in with her beauty and she won them over with her heart.
Surviving are husband, Shawn;
son, Ryan Hugan;
daughter, Payton Suszek;
granddaughter, Skylar Hugan;
step-sons, Austin Spishak and Shawn Jacob Spishak;
sister, Pam (Tim) Bassier;
niece, Brittney Bassier;
nephew, Nathan Bassier;
mother and father-in-law, Lil and Jay Spishak;
many other relatives and friends.
