WILLIAMS, Gloria Dorothy - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Per Gloria's request cremation has taken place and a service will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Crossover Outreach, 414 W. Court St., Flint, MI 48503.
Gloria was born February 24, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of Charles Andrew and Helen Madonna (Butler) Muma. She was a 1951 graduate of Flint Tech High School. She married Charles Oden Williams January 30, 1971 in Flint and he preceded her in death March 20, 2001. She had recently resided in Swartz Creek and had also resided in Lake City, Cadillac and Flint. Gloria retired as a as a secretary for the City of Flint.
Surviving are: her sons, Craig (Sarah) Leavitt of Irons formerly of Swartz Creek, Mark (Kathleen) Lloyd of Brighton and Paul (Myra) Williams of Ada; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Douglas Lloyd; brothers, Charles, Clarence and Harold Muma; and sister, Yvonne Chapman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
