CHATTERSON, Michael "Tim" - Age 67, of Fenton, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-3 and 4-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday. Thursday morning Tim will be taken to church to lie in state from 10 AM until the time of Mass Thursday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign.
Tim was born on October 29, 1953 in Flint the son of John "Jack" and Patricia (Hearsch) Chatterson. He graduated from Fenton High School, class of 1971. Tim proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He worked several years at the GM V-8 in production. Tim was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He loved his son and family dearly. In his free time he enjoyed playing BINGO and making people laugh.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Chatterson; siblings, Tamara (Glenn) Hayes, Denise Dunfield, Patti (David) Zito, Dan Chatterson, Darcey Miller (Jeff Terrain), and Stacey Chatterson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
