Huerta, Herman Richard Jr.- age 74 of Burton, passed away on May 17, 2025, at McLaren Hospital Flint.
A private burial will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Herman was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 12, 1951, to the late Herman Huerta Sr. and Anita (Sandoval) Huerta.
Herman served in USAF for many years. He achieved a Sargent rank, Senior Maintenance/Munitions Badge, Airforce Longevity service award, two oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Airforce Overseas Service Long Tour Ribbon.
Surviving are sons, Eric Huerta from Fort Worth Texas, Nick Huerta;
Daughter Cheyenne McHale;
Sisters, Cathy (Bob) Vaughn, Becky Tubbs;
Brothers, Anthony (Cheri) Huerta, Michael (Sue) Huerta;
Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents.
