Kim Ann Schriner (Mudget) of Clio, age 66, was born August 13, 1956 and died March 17, 2023. She is survived by her mother, Darlene Mudget; husband of 41 years, Dennis Schriner; her six children, Gavin Schriner (Amanda), Andrea Evancho (Andy), Summer Schriner (JR), Dani Davis, Jamie Schriner (Shawn) and Macie Schriner (Jody); grandchildren, Asher, Elena, Ayven and Alexander; brothers Mark Mudget and William Mudget; many nieces and nephews; and close friend Sue Boegner. She was preceded in death by her father, William Mudget.
Kim graduated from Mt. Morris High School and lived in Clio for more than 40 years. Kim loved being with family and friends. She loved the Beatles, especially John Lennon. She looked forward to annual camping trips. You knew she cared about you if she took the time to get you a gift from QVC, one of her favorite hobbies. She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. But her absolute favorite thing in the world was her grandkids. They truly brought out the best in her. It was hard to have a conversation without hearing about the grandkids and all of the amazing things they were doing.
Kim’s family would like to thank everyone who came to visit and the compassion and care the wonderful staff at Maple Woods Manor provided the last few months.
In lieu of flowers, Kim’s family requests that you make a donation to the Genesee County Humane Society. A celebration of life and luncheon will be held at noon on Saturday, April 15, at the Knights of Columbus hall in Birch Run.
