Irene H. Graff
Age 94 of Owosso passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, February 23, 2024 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.
Irene was born December 24, 1929 in Saginaw, the daughter of Adam and Barbara (Kerl) Zanner.
She graduated from Saginaw High School, class of 1948.
Irene looked forward to golfing and bowling and was a member of the 600 Club. She enjoyed playing cards; especially poker and euchre. Irene was active with the Election Board and spent many years as a room mother while her children were young and attending Salem Lutheran School.
She married Edsel Fredrick Graff in Indiana on November 3, 1951; he predeceased her in 2007.
Irene was co-owner and operator of the family business, Graff Service Station.
Irene is survived by her sons Terry Graff, Larry Graff and Edward (Dawn) Graff; grandchildren Taylor, Autumn and Chase; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, infant son Edsel Adam Graff, parents and 8 brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County or Salem Lutheran Church.
