MERROW, Anne Colene - Of Flint, age 93, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024
at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, August 19, 2024 at Hill Creek Church of God, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek,
Pastor Wes Hunter and Doug Dalton co-officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hill Creek Church of God.
Visitation 12-7pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the service.
Anne Colene was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Leslie and Neva Williams. Anne moved to the Flint area in 1951 after she married Jay Victor Merrow on September 17, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. Anne Colene loved playing the piano, the Detroit Tigers, and spending time with her family. She attended Hill Creek Church of God.
Surviving are children, Pamela (Michael) Hunt, David (Dolores) Merrow, Connie (Doug) Dalton, Mark (Michelle) Merrow and Cindy (Del) Hogan;
19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren;
Brother, Leslie (Brenda) Williams of Tennessee;
Sister, Neva Laverne (Roger) Wilkins of Wisconsin;
Several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Victor and sister, Virginia Lee Williams.
