Antoinette “Toni” Marie Eisenhauer.
On the morning of Friday, August 27, 2021, Toni passed away peacefully of natural causes. She was surrounded by family in her hometown of New Lothrop, Michigan at the time of passing. Toni was 95 years old.
Toni was born in the town of New Haven in Shiawassee County, Michigan on September 22, 1925. She was the thirteenth of fifteen children to Charles and Rosa Weber.
Upon graduating high school from Chesaning Catholic Lady of Perpetual Help, Toni worked at a grocery store then a gun factory making firing pins during World War II.
On June 29, 1946 Toni married Edmond F. Eisenhauer and together they raised eight children. The family lived in a home Edmond built himself in 1968.
Toni enjoyed mystery novels, puzzles, flowers, sewing, crocheting, euchre, and tuning into the Detroit Tigers.
In Toni’s final years, she received in-home care from her daughters, Pauline, Georgianne, and Christine. They found joy in taking care of their mother and will always cherish the time spent together.
Toni was preceded in death by her siblings; husband, Edmond; children, Eddie and Francis; and grandchild, Eric.
Toni is survived by her children, Pauline (Ron), Laura (Mike), Georgianne (Garth), Dean (Cheryl), Christine (Barry), and Raymond (Sharon); grandchildren, Rene, Peggy, Amanda, Janice, Michael, Garrett, Alex, Nicole, Danielle, Eddie Jr., Josh, Chantal, Colten, Chad, Kyle, Maci, Shelby, Shaleen, Alyssa, and Nicholas; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will take place 4-8pm on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the McGeehan Funeral Homes, New Lothrop Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 11am on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the same location. Interment will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery.
