DRENNAN, JIM P. (JAMES) – Of Flint, 59, died Friday, September 22, 2023.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Niles Foundation, Nilesfoundation.org, 201 South Alloy Drive, Fenton, MI 48430.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023 and 4 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 until the time of the service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
James was born in Flint, Michigan on February 13, 1964, the son of
Richard Drennan Sr. and Katherine (Labodzinski) Drennan.
On July 16, 1988 he married Leslie Kale in Flint, Michigan.
He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, entertaining and spending time with his family; especially his granddaughters. Jim was such a loving and generous person.
Jim worked for Niles Industrial for many years.
Surviving are wife, Leslie;
son, Kirk and wife Amanda;
granddaughters, Kya and Avlyn;
father, Richard Drennan Sr.;
brothers, Richard, Jr. and wife Deborah Drennan,
Michael and wife Susan Drennan;
sisters, Margaret Seeland, Anne and husband Ronald Davies;
mother-in-law, Sondra Kale;
sisters-in-law, Stephanie and husband Marco Coelho,
Alicia and husband Bruce Riddell, Rebecca and husband Robert Lawrence;
brothers-in-law, Michael and Susan Kale, Eric Kale, Stuart and wife Heather Kale;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Drennan; brother, Mark Drennan; father-in-law, Anthony Kale and mother-in-law, Lorraine Kale.
