DICKEY, Virginia A. – of Burton, MI age 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Monday, June 19, 2023 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 N. Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Jason Crum officiating. Private Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service on Monday at Davison Missionary Church. If desired, the family invites visitors to please wear pink attire in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, in Virginia’s memory.
Virginia was born in Boston, MA on February 1, 1940, daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Comerford) White. She married Robert A. Dickey on July 26, 1958 in Boston, MA and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1993. She had a magnetic personality and welcomed everyone into her life. Virginia dedicated herself to her family and will be greatly missed by all.
Virginia is survived by children, Denise (Jake McGrath) Terryah and Robert (Annette) Dickey; grandchildren, Jimmy (Colene), Danielle (Koeun), Ryan, Kelsey (Mike) and Meghan; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Adelynn, Judah, Paxton, Eden, Andromeda, Lelica, Hayden and Noa; siblings, Dorothy Morrison, Mary “Sissy” (Jack) Schlepphorst, Ernie (Marion) White, Kevin (Donna) White, Donna McDade and Denise (Gino) Ciongoli; loving partner of 29 years, Norm Kaye; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by siblings, Bernice Williams and Butch White; great-grandson, Ender Ryan Fernelius.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Elara Hospice and nurse, Kelly, for the exceptional care of Virginia.
