Marc L. Johnson, age 72, of Gaines, died Tues. July 20, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tues. July 27, 2021 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Military honors and inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be from 2-9 PM Mon. at the Dryer Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson was born In Christopher, IL on July 2, 1949 to Lawrence and Catherine (Bass) Johnson. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the US Army, was retired from General Motors, and was a former member of the Holly American Legion. Marc was a loving husband and father, and he loved golf, bowling, NASCAR, and birdwatching. He is survived by 3 children, Jeff Collins, Tammy Lambert, and Anthony Collins; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister C.J. Ludwick; and special friend Denise Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sharron.
