BROW, Barry Leonard - Age 70, of Fenton, passed away after a courageous 14 year battle with cancer, Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or PAN Foundation.
Barry was born October 17, 1954 in Flint, the son of Melvin Paul and Yvonne Maxine (Sherwood) Brow. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School; and received an Associates Degree from Mott Community College. He married Kathryn Lee Theodore July 17, 1976 in Flint. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Barry retired from Meijer after 23 years. He also worked for The Flint Journal and spent many years at McKee Foods, in Sales and Merchandising. Barry enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and was an avid sports fan. His quick wit and unique sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.
Surviving are: his devoted and loving wife of 48 years, Kathryn; Cherished daughters, Tiffany Brown (Duane Hamby) of Fenton and Jessica Hetherton (Robert) of Swartz Creek; beloved grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Callen, Mikey, Vance and Everlee; brother, Roy Brow (Becky) of Flint; sisters-in-law, Karen Marley (Boyd) of Ohio and Lisa Roedel (Wayne) of Greenville; brother-in-law, Douglas Tsaldaris (Pamela) of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Yvonne Brow; sister, Wanda Hanna; In-laws, Eli Carl and Eileen Theodore. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
