BUTLER, Timothy Jon – of Burt, age 75, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at his residence. Honoring Timothy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 2PM on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the Butler residence. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
Timothy was born April 18, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late George and Betty (Van Doran) Butler. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Ainsworth High School with the class of 1966. On September 14, 1996 he married Geraldine Roberts in Flint, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 2003, Tim worked for Flint Community Schools as Maintenance Man with 30 years of service. Tim enjoyed fishing at Lake Leelanau, his El Camino, and doing stone Masonry. He was an avid Beatles fan and loved having a good time with his friends and family. Timothy never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone.
Surviving are: wife, Geraldine Butler; children, Tabatha (Larry) Kohn, Timothy (Margie) Butler, Helen (Jacob) Blumner, Rhonda (Matthew) Adams, Jennifer Haddock; grandchildren, Micheal Butler, Samantha (J.T.) Volz, Elizabeth (Tevin) Pillow, Nicolas Butler, Christopher Kohn, Jonas Blumner, Micah Blumner, Eli Blumner, Caleb Adams, Logan Adams, Tyler Adams; great granddaughter, Vylla Pillow; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
