KOURT, Stanley L. - age 73, of Gaines, passed away February 26, 2021 at his residence. Visitation will be 2-6 PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. No formal service is planned. Stanley was born April 8, 1947 in Pinckney, MI the son of Robert and Noreene (Mansfield) Kourt. He grew up in Pinckney, before moving to Fenton, and finally residing in Gaines. He married Cheri Deborah "Debbie" Sharrett on November 29, 1969. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for General Motors for 43 years, before retiring. He loved Harley Davison motorcycles and old time John Deere tractors. Stanley also enjoyed target shooting.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie; two children, Brittany (Dan) Campbell and Brad (Nikki) Kourt, all of Howell; one grandson, Andy; brother, Jim (Darlene) Kourt; sister, Kathy (Noel) Smith.
