Edward John Jordan was born in Newport, Rhode Island on May 22, 1938 and passed away on September 2, 2023 in Clio, Michigan, at 85 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Gary Beecher officiating. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
After graduating from high school in Newport, Ed enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served until 1964. He was stationed in Michigan, and after his discharge, was employed by General Motors for over forty years. He met his wife, Dawn, whom he married in 1977. Ed was an active, outgoing person who enjoyed nothing more than his family, motorcycle trips and eating out with his motorcycle buddies. He was a dedicated member of several motorcycle groups over the years and formerly served in the Patriot Guard Riders.
He is survived by wife, Dawn Jordan; children, Michael (Joy) Jordan, Lisa (Fernando) Sanchez, Selina Jordan, Mark Jordan; brother, William (Teresa) Jordan; grandchildren Menterro, Alex, Alexis, Chad Jr.; great grandchildren Alicabela, Taylee.
