REYNOLDS-RAK, Laura Sue- Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday
February 20, 2022. Funeral services will be held 4PM Thursday February
24, 2022, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller
Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Don Bowman officiating. Burial in Imlay
City Township Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held 2PM
Thursday until time of service. In lieu of flowers those desiring may
make contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Laura was
born September 21, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of John and Marion
(Wilber) Perry. She married Herbert Rak on July 12, 2008. Laura
retired from the Flint Journal with 25 years of service. She was an
avid member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church and enjoyed
making crafts from ceramics and was featured in the Flint Journal.
Surviving are: husband, Herbert Rak of Swartz Creek; sons, Mark (Debi)
Reynolds of Harrison, David Reynolds of Ft. Meyers, FL, Jim Reynolds
of Clearmont, FL; many step-children; grandchildren, great
grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her parents, John and Marion Perry; siblings, Betty Hescott, Mary
Rebord, Robert Perry and longtime friend, Sue Frosh. Tributes may be
