BROWN, Florence Alice - Of Montrose, age 95, died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at McLaren of Flint, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Florence was born June 22, 1922 in Murray City, Ohio to the late Leo and Jenny (Matheny) Keith. She married William Brown on January 31, 1941. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1990. Florence retired from General Motors in 1978 after 27 years of service. Florence enjoyed gardening, shopping, camping, and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Mary Jane (David) Sproul, James (Brenda) Brown, William (Janice) Brown; Grandchildren: Douglas (Kelly) Graves, Steven (Jeanie) Graves, Kelly Sproul, Jamie (Frank) Chrysler, Adam (Merisa) Brown, William (Angela) Brown, John (Rebecca) Brown; Great Grandchildren, Jimmy, Dillion, Aaron, Austin, Cole, Jack, Luke, Kristina, Elizabeth, Alexis, Justin, William, Nicholas; Great-Great ,Grandchildren: Piper, Griffin; Brothers: Floyd, Edwin, and Alfred Keith, and Sister, Veronica Holcomb. She was preceded in death by her infant Daughter, Alice Faye Brown; Brothers: Leo, Virgil, Bobby, and Jim Keith; Sisters: Fontella Cooper, Pat Unger, and Martha Keith.
