Patricia Ann Abney (Ross) was a devoted Christian, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend. She entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, faith, and service to others.
Patricia was the beloved mother of her sons, Scott Lipford (Sheila) and Mick Harper (Mindy Nasser), and the loving grandmother of Aleshea Lipford, Samantha Lipford, and Brandon Torrey. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved.
She enjoyed life’s simple blessings—traveling to new places, sitting peacefully on her porch watching the squirrels and bunnies play, and sharing special moments with her granddaughter, Aleshea. Whether gathered around a family meal, enjoying conversation on the porch, or offering encouragement to someone in need, Patricia made every person feel valued and loved.
If you stopped by for a visit, you were never a stranger for long. Patricia welcomed everyone with a warm smile, a listening ear, and a heart full of love. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Above all, Patricia loved God. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was evident in the way she loved, served, and cared for others. She lived her faith daily, demonstrating grace, generosity, and unwavering devotion.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will remain a blessing for generations to come.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Willis Abney; her mother, Seneth Abney; and her sister, Peggy Lewis. While their absence was felt throughout the years, we find peace in knowing they are together once again, reunited in God’s eternal kingdom.
Memorial Service will be at 1:00pm on June 18, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road Flint.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
