YODER, Judith Ann (Fickies) – of Wyoming, MI, formerly of Davison, MI, age 83, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. A Family Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Davison Cemetery; Pastor Daryl Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WMPC in Lapeer, MI, in Judy’s memory. Memorial Services to be held in Hudsonville, MI and Davison, MI at later dates.
Judy was born in Flint, MI on September 25,1938, daughter of the late Elmer "Bill" and Marea (Sutliff) Fickies. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School and Michigan State University. Judy married Terry Robert Yoder on August 22, 1959 in Flint, MI. She was a member of Community Baptist Church of Davison.
Judy enjoyed teaching children in the local school system, in church, and in her home with her kids and grandkids over the years. She enjoyed travel, genealogy, sewing, crocheting, and knitting, making beautiful things for family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Terry R. Yoder; 3 children, Laura (Brian) Jones, Greg (Ann) Yoder and Beth (Jeff) Frank; 13 grandchildren, Sarah (Lane) Carey, Johnathon Ford, Angela Ford, Sarah Ford, Joshua (Jessie) Jones, Rachael Jones, Kristina Swart, Alyssa Swart, Benjamin Jones, Torri (Kent) Lawrence, Brett Walsh, Brie Paulin and Anastasia Yoder; 5 great- grandchildren, Jasmynn Ford, Jakob Ford, Riley Carey-Stoddard, Cassidy Carey-Stoddard and Lincoln Rademacher; brother, "Hal" (Linda) Fickies; many loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, "Bill" and Marea Fickies and brother, Vaughn E. (Garlyn) Fickies.
