DIETERLE, Beverly J. – of Clio, age 84, died on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home. Honoring Bev’s wishes, a private entombment will be held in Flint Memorial Park. A Celebration of Bev's Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 2PM until 5PM at Willow Springs Golf and Country Club - 7335 Oak Rd., in Vassar, for family and friends.
Beverly was born February 12, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to the late Lewis and Edith (Peters) Onstott. She grew up in Burton and attended Bendle High School. Bev married Richard L. Kessler on February 23, 1957, together they had three sons and enjoyed many happy years together before Richard preceded her in death on May 23, 1973. Years later, she found love again and married Bernard G. Dieterle on June 13, 1980. They enjoyed over 40 years together before he preceded her in death on April 15, 2022. Bev found joy in life’s simple pleasures, such as – bird and deer watching, fishing, tending to her flower garden, and playing pinnacle with her ladies’ card club. She found solace in the great outdoors, where she explored the wonders of nature and reveled in the beauty that surrounded her. Bev was also an avid deer hunter and found peace in the stillness of the woods. Among her dearest companions were all her beloved dogs she had over the years, with Bonnie holding a special place in her heart. Bev was a member of the Clio Eagles #3609, Clio Moose Lodge, and Englewood Moose Lodge #1933 in Florida.
Surviving are: Sons: Rick (Julie) Kessler, Daniel (Paula) Kessler, and Tony (Sue) Kessler; Grandson, Christopher Fisher; Great grandson, Jake; Brother, Darold (Mary) Onstott; 2 nieces, and 2 nephews. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
