John Doran Ireland, of Grand Blanc, passed away on October 13, 2020 at 81 years of age.
Beloved husband of Joy; adored father of John (Andrea), James (Ann), Jennifer (Gerald), Jason (Summer), and the late Joretta (Michael); blessed to be a grandpa to an extended family of 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
John was a member of the Jaycee's , Davison Meadows Baptist Church, and a community Probation Officer. He proudly retired from the US Army in 1998 and from General Motors after 42 years in skilled trade.
The family will greet friends from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the above location. Visitation from 10:00am until time of service. Interment with military honors following at Crestwood Cemetery.
