(ALBERT) LAZAR, Pauline J. of Flushing, age 93, died Friday, January 10, 2020 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15 at Flushing Presbyterian Church. Luncheon to follow the service. Private burial to take place. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 14 at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Wednesday at church until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing Presbyterian Church.
Pauline was born in Flint, Michigan on February 8, 1926 to Carmen and Pearl (Ruby) Newman. She was a 1943 Flint Central High School graduate. She married Bert Albert on June 10, 1943 and together they had three children. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1986. She married Julius Lazar on July 14, 1990 and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2012. Pauline retired after 27.5 years from the Ternstedt Plant. She was a proud member of Flushing Presbyterian Church and longtime member of the Beecher Lioness Club who enjoyed bowling, dancing, game shows, jigsaw puzzles, and travelling, but she loved spending time with her family the most.
Pauline is survived by her children, Gary (Shirley) Albert, Tim (Lee) Albert, and Wendy (John) Hirsch; grandchildren, Stacie (Brad) West, Brett (Chris) Albert, Ryan (Emili) Sherrett, Adam Sherrett, Scott (Amy) Zrakovie, Christopher (Malia) Albert, Deanna (Jeff) Koa, and Susan (Jim) Riechel; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Allyson, Blair, Mitchell, Paige, Jaylen, Dylan, Renee, Ryan, Megan, Erin, Samantha, Dianna, Timothy, Ashley, and Brittany; great-great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madalyn, and Emerson; and brother, Gene Newman. She was preceded in death by her two husbands; parents; sister, Wanda Burdt; and brother, Harold Newman.
