HUDAK, KRISTA – The Lord welcomed Krista home on February 15, 2025. Krista age 52, of Owosso ended her journey, surrounded by family and caring friends at My Michigan Health in Saginaw.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, February 24, 2025 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, MI, Father Louis Ekka officiating.
Visitation 12pm-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in Bendle Cemetery.
Krista was born December 25th, 1972 in Flint MI to her loving parents, Daniel and Rita Hudak.
After graduating high school, she moved to Boston Mass in pursuit of a degree in Tourism and hospitality and hopes of meeting her favorite music group New Kids on the Block. She made many cherished friends there and after graduation secured a management position at Pizzeria Uno in the Boston area. Later she moved back to Michigan to earn a teaching degree from U of M Flint. She worked as a substitute in Swartz Creek schools then held a teaching position at Albee School in Saginaw County. From there at Big Rock where she currently taught second grade, she made even more great friends that she loved like family. During her time at Big Rock, she was nominated for a golden Apple award. Krista had so many friends and people that loved her. She had a fulfilling life, she loved traveling and following her passion for the Oregon Trail. She was fortunate enough to take a 3-week road trip with family and document each of those same stops. Krista loved spending time with family and friends, reading and literacy, NASCAR racing, book club, Trivia night, Michigan and Lions football, escape room adventures, and her cats, Luna and Charlie.
She was preceded in death by Grandparents, Edward Hudak, Stephen and Florence Daniels; Uncles, Jeffery and Mark Daniels; Aunts, Cindy Buchanan and Cathy Ryan.
She is survived by parents, Daniel and Rita Hudak; siblings, Adam, Lisa, and Brandon Hudak and many nieces and nephews.
