Lowell Curtis Barlow, 89 of Caro passed away on December 3, 2025 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility after a prolonged illness.
He was born February 26, 1936 in Humbolt S Dakota to Harold and Jessie (Gillis) Barlow. Lowell spent 49 years of happiness with his first wife, Joan who passed away in 2004. During their time together they raised two sons, Steve and Barry Barlow. Lowell remarried Barbara Fox and relocated to Michigan where they lived for the past
20 years. He was an avid golfer, served as a volunteer fireman when living in Hayward, CA. Lowell was an avid ham radio operator, his call tag was WA6CHF and was active in the M.A.R.S emergency communication. He repaired T.V’s and even built his first computer. He was good with electronics. Lowell played the organ, he loved music.
Lowell is survived by wife, Barbara; children, Steve (Christine) Barlow and Barry Barlow; step daughters, Monica (Steve) Sherman, Wendy (Keith) Rankin, Trudy Fox; grandchildren, Kevin (Morgan) Barlow and Mega (Tom) Leary; step grandchildren, Jessica, Adam, Sarah, Sabrinia and Nichole; many great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Barlow; parents, Harold and Jessie Barlow; two sisters, Joan and Judy; step son, Blake.
A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 1 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 165 Carpenter Rd, Fostoria.
