LABOD, William M - of Flint, age 58, died Saturday, August 20, 2022
at Beaumont Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 6pm Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon Omar Odette officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 4pm Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on October 8, 1963, the son of the late Leonard and Maxine L. (Somers) Labod. He was a much appreciated genius at remodeling for anyone in need. William was a proud member in good standing of the IUPAT Local #1052 in Flint, MI. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at Mancelona and Higgins Lake cabin. William was also an avid Michigan sports fan. “GO BLUE!” Above all else, William loved being with his family.
Surviving are wife of his heart, Wendylee Gates;
Wife, Cindy Pye Labod;
Former wife, Dr. Robin Labod;
Deeply loved children, Tyler (Andrea) Labod, Sarah Labod, Will Labod;
Stepson, Evan Pye;
Granddaughters, Isabella and Natalia Labod;
Siblings, Judy LaFalce, Leonard “Red” (Patti) Labod, Lynn (Joe) Beach, Don (Vicki) Labod, Mary Beth Labod;
Special family members, Josie and Adreena, Jimmy Drennan and a thank you to his niece, Shelly Anderson for all her love and care;
Best buddies, Waldo and James Franco;
And many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Anderson.
