MECHURA, Lori Ann – Of Davison, age 65, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at her residence.
Visitation only will be held 2-7pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society or Leader Dog for the Blind.
Lori was born in Flint, Michigan on January 21, 1957, the daughter of John Mechura Jr. and Jeanette Essler. Lori enjoyed tending her flowers, feeding birds, being with her dogs and was a huge Detroit Tiger fan. She also loved Michigan football and being with family and friends. Lori retired from AC Delphi after 30 years of service and was also a member of UAW Local #651.
Surviving are the love of her life, Billy Howe;
Mother, Jeanette (Bob) Essler;
Sister, Kristie (Delbert) Zimmerman;
Nieces, Kayna (Adam) Schlichte, Jennifer (Chris) Schaller and Molly (Markus) Duran;
Great-nephews, Easton and Dawson Schaller;
And great-niece, Brooklynn Duran.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Mechura Jr., aunt Marlene Mechura, uncles, Joseph Mechura, Ronald Mechura and Gary Mechura.
