ALMASY, Ronald – of Mount Morris, age 84, died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Trinity Assembly of God – 4363 Mount Morris Rd., in Mount Morris. Pastor Bill Christensen officiating.
Ronald was born January 30, 1940, in Flint, to the late Gustaf and Charlotte (Hobson) Almasy. On November 2, 1970, Ronald married the love of his life, Lorraine Irish, and together they shared 44 years of marriage. Lorraine preceded him in death on April 5, 2014. In 1985, he proudly retired from the City of Flint after 25 years of service. Ronald enjoyed keeping himself busy, especially with outdoor tasks. He was quite a jokester and always managed to brighten any dull day. Most importantly, Ronald loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Ronald is forever remembered by his children: Lorna Bosley (Kevin), Tammy Hall, and Ron Almasy Jr. Sister, Margie Burris, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren with special thanks to granddaughter Courtney Clark (Ryan) for her help during this difficult time. Ronald was preceded in death by wife Lorraine, brother Gus, and his parents. |
