Charles John “Chuck” Bellmore, age 67, died at his residence in Franklin, Tennessee on January 26, 2024.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Ken Preiss officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born in Flint, Michigan, March 21, 1956, to Gloria and the late Derwain Bellmore.
Chuck graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1974 and Central Michigan University in 1980.
He started working for General Motors in 1976 at Fisher Body before transferring to the Saturn Plant in Tennessee. After retirement, he remained in Franklin where he worked at Home Depot until his death.
Chuck was a member of the Ainsworth and Mott Community College swim teams. He continued his interest in competitive swimming by serving as the Head Coach for the YMCA boys swim team in 1983.
Chuck was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he was a kind and thoughtful person, always willing to engage in wide-ranging conversation. He was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to music and sharing his interest with others.
Chuck leaves his mother, Gloria Bellmore, sister Kathy (Jim) Orr, brothers Dave (Brenda) Bellmore, John (Dalynda) Bellmore, and multiple nieces and nephews.
