Jackie Zappa Bradley of Flushing, age 72, died Monday, September 14, 2026, peacefully at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, at St. Robert Catholic Church. The family will receive family and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Flint Memorial Park. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
Jackie was born in Flint, Michigan on November 18, 1953, the daughter of Bennie and Evelyn (Hipkins) Zappa. She married Barry Bradley on October 21, 1978, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris.
Jackie worked for many years at Regional Cardiology in Grand Blanc, and after retirement, she filled her days caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking for family and friends, especially her special Christmas baskets that she gifted every year. Jackie also loved spoiling her family with her famous, homemade spaghetti and meatballs. In earlier years, she played bingo and enjoyed trips to the casino. She loved a good shopping trip in Chicago. Her greatest joy was being with her family, whether at home with Barry watching the Spartans, spectating at a grandchild's activity, or on a family trip in Northern Michigan.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Barry; children, Michael and wife Alicia Bradley, Markie and husband Brandon Martini; grandchildren, Lincoln and Reese Bradley and Montgomery Martini; sisters, Judy Zappa Anderson and Bonnie Bruff; sisters-in-law, Darla Bradley, Jackie and Bob Peek, Blaise and Sharon Bradley, Christy Peek; brother-in-law, Brian Bradley; and many adored nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, John and Elizabeth Bradley; brother, Danny Zappa; brothers-in-law, Jerry Bruff, David Samples, Jimmy Peek, Bruce Bradley; and sister-in-law, Vicky Bradley.
