BUTLER, David Arthur - age 72 of Linden, died November 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-8 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family or to St. Jude Hospital for Children. Dave was born July 27, 1950, in Flint, the son of Harry A. and Beverly (Tucker) Butler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Michigan Bell. Dave was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing and was a avid University of Michigan sports fan. Surviving are: wife, Marilyn; children, James (Kristin) Butler and Abbey (Josh) Tryner; stepson, Nicholas Prieur (Jerry Toney); grandchildren, Brynn and Leah Butler, Reagan and Griffin Tryner; sister, Janet (Joe) Kolly; nephews, Michael Beckley and Jake Beckley; niece, Jessica Mathias.
