Carl Leroy Tucker Sr., age 83 years, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. He was born on March 30, 1938 in Flint, the son of the late James and Laura (Huff) Tucker. Carl was a roofer with Local 149 for over 40 years. He enjoyed trips to the casino later in life but as a young man he had a flare for cooking, working at KFC and Big John Steak and Onion.
Surviving family include his children, Carl (Renee) Tucker, Christine (David) Natale, Gayle (Kevin) Wineman, Lisa (Paul) Gilbert and Peggy Tucker; grandchildren, Amanda Urban, Thurman Belcher, David Belcher, Joshua McGill, Brett McGill, Nathan Manley, Shane Manley, Johnathan Gilbert, Michael Gerhauser and Samuel Natale; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Belcher; his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Arlene Hempton and siblings, Lorney Tucker, Jim Tucker, Howard Tucker, Wanita Eads and Annabel Ostrander.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Carl’s life is being planned for a later date. |
