COWELL, Tommy Lloyd - loving husband, and father of four children passed away at the age of 85, on March 15, 2022. Services will be held at a later date.

Born in Russellville Arkansas on July 27, 1936. Moved to Flint, Michigan in 1954 and got a job at the Chevrolet Truck plant. On January 21, 1956, he married Marilyn Richardson. In 1984 he met Sharon Wright. He married Sharon on June 9, 1984, who had two children, Mark and Kim. On January 20, 2017, Sharon passed. On July 5, 2021, Kim passed. Tommy was known for his wise, kind, and quiet nature. He had passions in cooking, brewing, gardening, and farming. Tommy is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, wife Sharon, and daughter Kim. Survived by two sisters Nell Hinson, Corey Gregory (Johnny) and one brother Bill Cowell, children Terry Cowell (Linda), Nick Cowell (Candy), Karen MacDonald (Derry), Vicki Wolner (Jerry), and Mark Wright (Jeanette), thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to The American Lung Association in memory of Tommy Cowell. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes. |
