Clarence E. Cales of Flushing, Michigan formerly of Sandstone, West Virginia, age 87, died
Saturday, March 16 th , 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by family. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
Clarence “Eddie” was born March 22, 1936 in Summers County, WV to Boyd R. and Lola
(Richmond) Cales. He retired from GM Truck and Bus in 1992. He loved his beautiful garden,
hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a simple man that would help anyone. He
was a proud Veteran that served for The United States Army. He was a wonderful husband,
father, grandpa, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Ella Mae Cales, and his children Rhonda Cales, Cindy(Greg) Thomas; grandchildren Leah Sarrazin, Logan Sarrazin, Brooke Thomas, Brody Thomas; sister in law Jessie Cales; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Lola Cales, his brothers, Owen Cales, Lemuel Cales, Jennings Cales, Archie Cales, and sister Ethel Marie Cales.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for care of his wife Ella
