Lois Gene Locklin, age 74, of Columbiaville died June 13, 2021 at Maplewood Manor in Clio.
Lois was born October 13, 1946 in Lapeer, Michigan to the late Leroy and Dorothy Griswold. Lois was known in the area for her beautiful floral arrangements. She opened her flower shop in Columbiaville called Meadowood Florist from 1976 till 1978. She then worked at Burks Flowers in Lapeer for several years, and a few other shops in the Flint Area before joining Rayola’s where she retired in 2010. Lois enjoyed gardening, knitting, and felting.
Lois is survived by her children: Bryan (Julie) Davis, Amy (Merle) Shannon, Chris (Jeanunette) Davis, siblings: Glen (Marilyn) Griswold, Norm Griswold, Kent Griswold, Gloria (Fiancé Bruce Cox ) Haynes, six grandchildren: Drew, Charlie, Eric, Colton, Taylor, Cole, and two great-grandchildren: Brielle, and Blake.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Jansen Family Funeral Home -Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 4:00 PM till time of service. Rev. Gloria Haynes officiating.
