Yvonne "Bonnie" LaClair, age 91, of Lapeer, passed away on May 31, 2022, in the comforts of her home. She was born on March 17, 1931, in Arcadia, Iowa, to Joe & Mary Noethe. She married Ed LaClair on November 22, 1952, in Fonda, Iowa.
Bonnie was first and foremost a loving mother and homemaker raising her 6 children. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and had great devotion to our Blessed Mother. She was a huge asset to her church as an extraordinary minister, generous donor and friend to many. Bonnie was a very giving member to her community, helping those in need, donating new children’s winter coats for many years. She also supported her husband in his business, Ross Automotive, as payroll manager. She was an avid member and supporter of Suncrest Auxiliary, raising thousands in donations each year. She enjoyed golfing, walking every day, going out with friends, and people coming out to visit.
Loving mother of Kathy (Chuck) Smith, Jeanne (Dave) Wilson, Joe (Lynne Trulio) LaClair, Mike LaCLair, Lynn Brim, John (Geri) LaClair; dear grandmother of Matt Brim, Katey Smith, Thomas LaClair; dear sister of Mary Jane Collison, Joan Hogan, and Karon Ann Ludwig. Also survived by our special family angel Kathy Rappuhn and wonderful neighbor Linda.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ed LaClair; brothers Dutch Noethe and Dale Noethe; parents Joseph & Mary Noethe.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, June 8th from 4-8 PM (7 PM Rosary) at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 12 PM at St. John Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423. Rev. Andrew A. Czajkowski will officiate. Friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of Mass. A luncheon will immediately follow at the American Legion in Lapeer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Suncrest Auxiliary or St. Vincent DePaul. |
