McCarney, Helen R. - Age 92, of Burton, MI. died November 19, 2020 at home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM, Monday, November 23 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta St., Burton, Fr. Michael Williams officiating. Entombment in the New Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Flint. Visitation will be 2 - 4 PM Sunday, November 22 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, and 10 AM until the time of the mass at church Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Burton Senior Center. Helen was born May 11, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to Louis and Helen (Krishan) Pastor. She graduated from Northern High School in June, 1946. Helen worked five years at the Flint Dupont Plant after graduation. Later she worked as Executive Secretary at GMI Engineering & Management (now Kettering University) for 27 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of The Industrial Business Girls, Daughters of Isabella Circle 530, and the Burton Senior Citizens. Helen is survived by her son; Leonard, Jr. and daughter, Brenda Neldon, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Stephen (Dolores) Pastor, Louis (Eileen) Pastor, Julia (Jack) Williams; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard of 54 years in 2002; her parents Louis and Helen Pastor; daughter, Deborah Scott; and brother Alexander Pastor.
