BOLES, Carl B. – of Clio, age 73, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at McLaren of Flint. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held. Inurnment will be held in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Carl was born July 18, 1943 in Plant City, Florida to the late Leo and Dora (Stewart) Boles. He married Judith Cordrey October 26, 1974 in Owosso. Mr. Boles was a U.S. Navy Veteran with service during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Carl retired from Flint Metal Fabricating in 1998 with over 30 years’ seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #659. He enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles, and racing. Above all, Carl loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a wonderful very loved grandfather.
Surviving are: Wife, Judith of Clio; Children: Carl (Amy) Boles Jr., of Arkansas, Shane (Jody) Boles of Clio, and Shanda Morency of Flushing; 8 grandchildren: Hunter. Justice, Katana, Brandon, Logan, Brady, Madison, and Marisa; Siblings: Don (Ann) Boles, Edith Foster, and Tom Boles.
