Bruce K. Heilbronn, of Flushing, Michigan, age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be 12 noon on Saturday, February 10, 2023, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Jon Locke will officiate. A private burial service will take place at Flushing Cemetery at a later date.
Bruce was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 6, 1936 to Bruce Frederick and Katherine (Finch) Heilbronn. He married Gayla Goffnett in 1956. Bruce began his career as a teacher at Flushing Junior High in 1966 and that is where he retired from. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gayla Heilbronn; children, Diane (Mark Steffen) Hendrick, Bill (Paula) Heilbronn, Lisa (Wayne) Murray, and Danelle Duplanty; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Heilbronn.
