FANTEGROSSI, David Charles – of Davison, MI, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-12 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. Inurnment, with Military Honors, on a later date.
David was born in Quincy, MA on September 12, 1940 son of the late Edward and Mary Fantegrossi. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1967. David married Darlene “Dar” Lemek on April 23, 1965. He retired from General Motors after more than 30 years of service. David enjoyed yardwork, gardening, woodworking, eating and napping.
David is survived by his wife, Darlene “Dar” Fantegrossi; 4 children, Teresa Wenzel, Gina (Trevis Timms) Diehl, Christopher “Leo” (Valerie) Fantegrossi and Mary (Eric) Ryan; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dino (Chris) Fantegrossi and Alfred (Rose) Fantegrossi; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Fantegrossi; son-in-law, David Wenzel and sister, Edith Roe.
