Oka Lany Miller, 77, was released from her pain on October 15th at home, with her husband of 59 years by her side, and is now flying free.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service held at a later date.
Oka was born in West Branch, Michigan on October 18th, 1946.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Lawrence (Larry) Miller, Jr.;
her children, Lari Lynne Milleur (Chuck), Jennifer DeHaan (Mike), and Jason Miller (Kathy);
grandchildren, Brent (Jenny) and Joshua (Ashley) DeHaan, Andrew (Danah), Adam, and Edmond Watkins, and Jacob and Ava Miller, Max (Charla) and Rex (Paoula);
along with several great grandchildren.
She was also the loving sister to Sandra Tank and Sharon Prevo and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Oka loved her family fiercely and enjoyed reading, crafts and movies.
She was an avid member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc.
She loved messaging her family and friends, and keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook; taking pictures and videos.
She was a volunteer with the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation.
Celebration of life to take place in the spring.
Oka was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Orcelia Utter and sister, Almeda Kibbe.
