Martin, Donald M. Jr. - Age 52, of Grand Blanc, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2023. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church 515 Bush Ave. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Veteran Service Dogs (www.vsdo.us).
Donald was born March 9, 1971 in Almont, Michigan to Donald Maurice, Sr. and the late Mary Jane (Rhody) Martin. He was a 1989 graduate of Imlay City High School. Donald served in The United States Navy from 1989-1992 and married Tamara Eileen Markle on April 3, 1993 in North Branch, Michigan. He worked for Edward C. Levy as a Millwright for over 30 years. Donald enjoyed woodworking, laughing and games with the kids.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tammy; children, Kaja (Ron) Mraz of Grand Blanc, Alex Martin of Grand Blanc, Karl Martin also of Grand Blanc; sister, Lisa (Jeff) McGehee of Grand Blanc; brother, Jim Martin of Capac; father, Donald (Debbie) Martin Sr. of Seabring, FL.; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Mary Markle of Houghton Lake and Bradenton, FL; extended family also survive.
