Gary Eugene Dressendofer born August 15, 1946 died surrounded by his loving family on December 18, 2024. Gary was born in Corning, Arkansas to Eugene and Wanda (Childress) Dressendofer. He was the eldest of 7 children.
Gary married the love of his life, Janice, on August 20, 1966.
He was known for his generosity, kindness and love of family. He was employed as an engineering supervisor at General Motors for 30 years. Gary was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was associated with the North Holly Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, Eugene and Wanda and sister, Linda. Surviving are his wife, Janice, brother, Phillip Dressendofer and wife Michelle, sister, Sharon Dilley and husband Robert, sister, Lisa Oliver and husband Brad, sister, Denise Popma and husband Tom, sister, Darlene Marsh and husband Derek and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Residential Hospice for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4255 McCandlish Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan.
