Went home to be with her Lord on March 24th, 2022.
Sandy was born in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Beecher High School.
She was employed for over 20 years with the City of Flint as a tax administrator.
Sandy was an avid and talented crafter in any media she was determined to learn. She loved her home and was a masterful decorator, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who entered.
She loved and was immensely proud of her family; this pride reached not only forward to her grandchildren but to the generations who came before. This led her on many trips around the country, gathering genealogical records to honor a family tree she traced back to the 1600s.
She was a beloved wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother, survived by her husband Ted Yurk, daughter Tiffany Juhl (Shane), stepdaughters Marcy Yurk and Amy Sheibar, 5 grandchildren: Lucas(Theresa), Matthew and Noah Juhl, and Kira and Donovan Sheibar, beloved sister-in-law Helen, nephew Brad and niece Haley Kotwicki.
Sandy was preceded in death by her brother Larry Kotwicki.
Service will take place at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road; Visitation will be on Monday March 28th from 3-8pm. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 11:00am.
