CRAVEN, Deborah K. – of Mt. Morris, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 surrounded by family. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, or Old News Boys of Flint.
Deborah was born June 10, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Louise (Hall) Hodge. She attended Hamady High School and graduated from Carmen Adult Education in 1984. Deborah married Kenneth P. Craven on February 15, 1966. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1990. She later rekindled a loving relationship with Tom Huneycutt, and they enjoyed many happy years together. Deborah worked in healthcare as a caregiver before retiring. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, trips to the casino, gardening, and music. Deborah enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren and watching them grow. Above all, she loved spending time with her sisters, and other loving family members. Debora’s wonderful sense of humor and love for laughing will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Daughters: Lisa (Doug) Faith, Kendra (Doug) Diaz, Kathie (Don) Tedford; Sons: Kenny Craven, and John (Torie) Craven; Loving Companion: Tom Huneycutt; Grandchildren: Bree (Mike), Kevin (Su), Craig (Jackie), Stephanie (Bobby), Rashell (Paul), and Collin; Great grandchildren: Braxton, Bella, Silas, Cameron, Devin, Alli, Addy, Valek, Aurora, Athena, Landon, Liam, and Allison; Brothers: Pat, John, and Mike; Sisters: Fran, Linda, Suzie, Alice, Janise, and Karrie.
