MCFIELD, Wayne T. – of Clio, age 77, died on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home with family by his side. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Home Missionary Baptist Church - 8475 N. Saginaw Rd. in Mt. Morris. Brother Dan Gordon officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with full Military Honors. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM, and at the church on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Home Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Morris.
Wayne was born November 21, 1942 in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles and Betty (Osborn) McField. He graduated from Clio High School in 1961. Wayne married Dalberta Brewer on February 4, 1962 at Home Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Mr. McField is a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War Veteran. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company in 1995 with 30 years seniority. Wayne was proud of serving on the MTA board for senior citizens. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, hunting, traveling, family vacations, and keeping an immaculate lawn. Above all, Wayne loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Wife, Dalberta McField; Son, Wayne McField, Jr.; Daughters: Debra (Randy) Pitt, and Amy (Michael) Cunningham; 14 grandchildren: Thera, Justin, Samantha, Theron (Heather), Ashly (Cliff), Pamela (Michael), Christi, Samantha, Zachary, Nathan (Kaitlyn), Brenden (Misy), Michael, Jordan, and Alyssa; Many great grandchildren; Siblings: Charlene Smith, Vicky (Steve) Horton, Robert (Jean) McField, and Heather (Danny); Best friend, Bill (Anita) Allen.
