Schmitter, Jeffery “Jeff” – of Mt. Morris, age 67 passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by family. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1PM, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Resilient Hope- 2115 W. Mt. Morris Rd.
Jeff was born October 8, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Martin and Marilyn (Sims) Schmitter. He served in the Army for 2 years and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Lions Club. Jeff enjoyed crocheting and visiting the casino. He made many friends by playing his mobile games. Jeff was a loving man, who did not let anything stop him from living. Above all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are: Significant other: Linda Little; Children: Duane (Rochelle) Schmitter, Laura Motter, Earl Little Jr, Tammi Shively, Teresa Ellingson; granddaughter, Miya Schmitter; Siblings: Willard (Kathy) Klump, Penny (Steven) Southwell, and Tabatha Cooper; along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his son, Jeffery Schmitter Jr; ex-wife, Roxanne Schmitter; brother, Eugene Schmitter; sisters: Diane Masterson, Linda Greene, and Pamela Hammel.
